Weekend Closure of Annapolis Road at the Waterview Avenue Bridge

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that a portion of the Annapolis Road/Waterview Avenue intersection will be closed this weekend for construction work, as part of the I-295 Triple Bridges Replacement Project.

Beginning at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 11, 2021, Annapolis Road will be closed to through traffic at the Waterview Avenue Bridge with detours in effect, weather permitting.  The roadway will remain closed until approximately 5:00 a.m. on Monday, June 14, 2021

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are strongly encouraged to use alternate routes throughout the weekend.

Detour Information:

Motorists traveling north on Annapolis Road will be detoured west (left) on Waterview Avenue, north (right) on Hollins Ferry Road, north (right) on Washington Boulevard, then east (right) on Monroe Street back to Annapolis Road.  

Motorists traveling north on Waterview Avenue will be detoured across the bridge, and then will follow the same detour as the Annapolis Road traffic.

Motorists traveling south on Annapolis Road will be detoured onto MD-295 South just before the road closure on Annapolis Road at the bridge.
