High Traffic Volumes Expected Downtown on Sunday for the Ravens Home Opening Game at M&T Bank Stadium

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that high volumes of traffic are expected downtown on Sunday, August 17, 2017 for the Baltimore Ravens home opening game against the Cleveland Browns.  The game will be held at M&T Bank Stadium beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Motorists should be advised that all posted parking restrictions and residential permit parking regulations in the vicinity of the stadium will be strictly enforced.  Patrons attending the game who do not have a parking permit for any of the stadium lots are strongly encouraged to use public transportation including mass transit, light rail or the Charm City Circulator.

Patrons choosing to drive to the stadium should park at commercial lots and avoid area neighborhoods.  Parking Control Agents will enforce all posted parking restrictions in the vicinity of the stadium and vehicles parked in violation will be ticketed and towed to 410 Fallsway.  Citizens with questions concerning the location of their vehicle should call (410) 396-4613 or 311.

In preparation for the event, the Department of Transportation will deploy Traffic Enforcement Officers to assist with the movement of traffic in the downtown area.  Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for heavy pedestrian/vehicular traffic and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
