The Baltimore City Department of Transportation (BCDOT) would like to advise motorists of the temporary traffic modifications and road closures for the following activities this weekend.  Please download the Waze.com app for live detour navigation.  All activities are weather permitting and BCDOT is not responsible for providing status updates.

Traffic Modifications for ROW Art Project

 

This Saturday, temporary traffic modifications will be implemented for ROW Art Project.

In preparation for the project lane closure will be implemented on Saturday, November 4, 2023 from approximately 5:00 AM – 10:00 AM

 

  • Charles Street lane closure at North Avenue

 

A detour will be in-place, advising motorists to use Calvert Street to travel north. During this time, there will be lane closures along North Avenue at Charles Street, however North Avenue will remain open to eastbound and westbound traffic at all times.

 

Motorist traveling through the area are advised to watch for workers in the roadway, travel at safe speeds, and adhere to the temporary traffic controls in place.

 

Lane Closures Along the Hilton Parkway

Temporary lane closures will be implemented for cleaning.

On Saturday, November 4, 2023, road closures will be implemented along Hilton Parkway the northbound and southbound 5:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

 

  • Hilton Pkwy northbound and southbound 
  • North Ave to Caton Ave 

Modifications for Crane Operations

On Saturday, November 3rd, 2023 the following closures will be implemented for crane operations:

  • Monument St closed between Broadway and Rutland  for a crane operation   2am-8pm
  • S. Caroline St closed between Thames and Dock St for a crane operation    3am—7pm
  • Monument St closed between Constitution and Greenmount  for a crane operation  6am—7pm
  • Granby St closed between Albermarle and President St    for a crane operation  7am—1pm
  • Greenmount Ave closed between 22nd and 23rd  for a crane operation    7am—7pm

Motorists traveling in these vicinities should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
