Closures Along Portions of US-40 to Begin Wednesday, December 15, 2021

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that temporary closures of portions of US-40/Franklin-Mulberry Expressway will begin tomorrow for pavement marking work.

On Wednesday, December 15 through Friday, December 17, 2021, the following sections of US-40/Franklin-Mulberry Expressway will be closed to through traffic from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day with detours in effect, weather permitting:

  • Westbound US-40 between N. Greene Street and N. Pulaski Street – Wednesday, December 15, 2021
  • Eastbound US-40 between N. Pulaski Street and N. Greene Street – Thursday, December 16, 2021
  • Westbound and eastbound US-40 will intermittently close between N. Greene Street and N. Pulaski Street – Friday, December 17, 2021

During the closures, westbound US-40 traffic is advised to use W. Franklin Street as a detour, and eastbound traffic will be directed to W. Mulberry Street.  Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
