The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that a portion of westbound Waterview Avenue will temporarily close tomorrow for AFRAM festivities.

On Thursday, August 26, 2021, westbound Waterview Avenue will be closed to through traffic between Potee Street and the Middle Branch Arena from approximately 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. with detours in effect, weather permitting. 

Motorists traveling in this area should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes. 

Detour:

Westbound Waterview Avenue traffic will be detoured south on Potee Street and west (right) on Cherry Hill Road back to Waterview Avenue.
