The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that a traffic pattern shift will soon be implemented along a portion of Central Avenue for construction work.

Beginning at approximately 7:00 a.m. on or about Monday, August 23, 2021, all through traffic along Central Avenue will be shifted to the west side of roadway between Aliceanna and Pratt Streets.  One lane of through traffic will be maintained in each direction along the west side of Central Avenue during construction.   

This traffic shift will remain in effect until further notice.  Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
