Milling and Paving Work to Begin Along Approaches to the Edmondson Avenue Bridge

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that milling and paving work will soon begin in the vicinity of the Edmondson Avenue Bridge.

Starting on or about Wednesday, August 18, 2021, milling and paving work will begin along the roadway approaches on each side of the Edmondson Avenue Bridge.  Daily lane closures will be implemented along Edmondson Avenue in the vicinity of the bridge from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day, weather permitting.

Variable message signs will be stationed in the area to alert motorists of the lane closures. In addition, traffic flagging personnel will assist vehicles and pedestrians through the work zone.  Motorists traveling in this vicinity may experience congestion and delays, and are encouraged to plan ahead by allowing additional commute time or using alternate routes.
