Lane Closures Along the Jones Falls Expressway

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that temporary lane closures will be implemented along a portion of the Jones Falls Expressway (JFX) this Saturday for street lighting work. 

On Saturday, March 14, 2020, temporary lane closures will be implemented along the southbound Jones Falls Expressway between the county line and Maryland Avenue from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  In addition, the Falls Road entrance ramp to the southbound Jones Falls Expressway will also temporarily close during this time.

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

Lane Closures Along I-295

This Sunday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along I-295 for maintenance work.  On Sunday, March 15, 2020 temporary right lane closures will be implemented along northbound and southbound I-295 between Russell Street and the county line from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  In addition, the Westport, Annapolis, Monroe and I-695 Ramps will also intermittently close during this time.

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes to avoid delays.

Boston Street Flagging Operation

This weekend, temporary lane closures will be implemented along Boston Street at the intersection of Haven Street for utility repair work.  On Saturday, March 14 and Sunday, March 15, 2020 temporary lane closures will be implemented along Boston Street at the intersection of Haven Street from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.  each day.  A traffic flagging operation will be implemented at this intersection during these times to direct motorists through the work zone.

Signal Repairs at Fleet and Caroline Streets

This Saturday, the intersection of Fleet and Caroline Streets will be closed for traffic signal repairs.  On Saturday, March 14, 2020, the intersection of Fleet and Caroline Streets will be closed to through traffic from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with detours in effect.
