New traffic signal will be installed

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that a portion of Monroe Street will temporarily close this Saturday for the installation of a new traffic signal.

On Saturday, January 05, 2019, Monroe Street will be closed to through traffic between Washington Boulevard and Wicomico Street from 7:00 a.m. until approximately 4:00 p.m. weather permitting with detours in effect.

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
