Traffic Modifications for the Kids Peace Trick or Trot 5K
The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists of the traffic modifications in effect for the annual Trick-or-Trot 5K which will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 starting at 8:00 a.m.
The race begins on Lee Street along the crosswalk at the base of the 395 exit ramp. Participants will cross 395 to Conway Street, turn right on Light Street, and left on Key Highway to the turn-around point at Cross Street. The race proceeds back down Key Highway, left on Battery Avenue, right on Montgomery Street and left on Hanover Street. Participants will turn right on Hamburg Street and proceed between the stadiums to Lee Street. Runners will then turn right at the Russell Street Service Drive and right at the tunnel entrance to finish in Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
In preparation for the event, westbound Hamburg Street will be closed to through traffic between Leadenhall and Russell Streets on Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. In addition, one lane of traffic will be coned off for participants along the race route wherever possible.
During the event, temporary traffic stops may be implemented for the safety of participants. Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for pedestrians and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
Mulberry Street Milling and Paving
This Saturday a portion of Mulberry Street will be closed for milling and paving work.
On Saturday, October 28, 2017 Mulberry Street will be closed to through traffic between Park Avenue and Charles Street from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with detours and parking restrictions in effect. In addition, 2 right lanes will be closed to traffic along northbound Charles Street at the intersection of Mulberry Street during this time.
Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
Great Halloween Lantern Parade and Festival
This Saturday, a portion of Linwood Avenue will be closed for the Great Halloween Lantern Parade and Festival which will be held in Patterson Park.
On Saturday, October 28, 2017 Linwood Avenue will be closed to through traffic between Eastern Avenue and Pratt Street from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. with detours and parking restrictions in effect.
Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
Traffic Modifications for the Downhill Derby
This Sunday, a portion of Harford Road will be closed for the Downhill Derby and mural painting.
On Sunday, October 29, 2017 Harford Road will be closed to through traffic between Echodale and White Avenues from 2:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with detours and parking restrictions in effect.
