The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists of the road closures that will be in effect for the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra’s annual Gala Celebration which will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2016. 

In preparation for the event, the following streets will be closed to through traffic with parking prohibited and detours in effect:

Preston Street will be closed between Cathedral and Howards Streets starting at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 11, 2016 until 5:00 p.m. on Monday, September 19, 2016.

Park Avenue will be closed between Howard and Cathedral Streets on Saturday, September 17, 2016 from 12:00 noon until 12:00 midnight.

Detour signs will be posted in the area.  Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for pedestrians and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
