Tuesday Nov 5th, 2013
The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise citizens that the overnight enforcement of parking restrictions has resumed in city neighborhoods.
Parking Control Agents are now actively enforcing parking restrictions throughout the city byissuing citations 24 hours a day, Monday through Friday. Parking enforcement occurs on a daily basis, and efforts are focused in areas that generate the most complaints, including the downtown business district, Fells Point, Canton and Federal Hill. Citizens can report parking concerns by calling 311 or visiting www.baltimorecity.gov to generate a service request.
The overnight enforcement of parking restrictions began on October 31, 2013. Motorists are strongly encouraged to pay close attention to posted parking signs in city neighborhoods and residential permit parking areas. Vehicles parked in violation may result in fines of up to $502.00.
