Daily Lane Closures Continue to be Implemented Along Roland Avenue for Crosswalk Installations

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that daily lane closures continue to be implemented along portions of Roland Avenue for the installation of crosswalks. 

Daily lane closures are being implemented along Roland Avenue between Upland Road and Northern Parkway between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. each day.  Some closures will remain in effect overnight as needed in order for concrete work to cure.

During construction, at least one lane of through traffic will remain open for motorists.  The lane closures will be implemented daily through the end of June, 2016 weather permitting.

These closures may cause significant traffic delays and commuters are encouraged to allow additional travel time.  Motorists should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and should use alternate routes when traveling in this vicinity.
